Aahmes Shriners Visit the Aloha Shriners in Hawai‘i

The Aahmes Shriners were delighted to reconnect with their brothers of the Aloha Shriners during a recent visitation to Hawai‘i. The visiting delegation included Illustrious Potentate Leo Bautista, Assistant Rabban Patrick “Pat” Quinn, High Priest & Prophet Romeo “Romy” Damiles, and Oriental Guide Pompei Festejo, accompanied by their gracious Shrine Ladies.

The visit began with a warm Sunday gathering at the Aloha Shriners Beach Club, the temple’s oceanfront property, where Nobles and their Ladies shared a day of fellowship and relaxation by the sea. The afternoon was filled with delicious food, laughter, and camaraderie, perfectly reflecting the spirit of Aloha that defines the fraternity in Hawai‘i.

On Monday, the group enjoyed an informative and inspiring tour of Shriners Children’s Hawai‘i, exploring the hospital’s various departments and witnessing firsthand the compassionate care provided to children across the Pacific. A highlight of the visit included a special meet-and-greet with Dr. Jennifer Weiss, Chief of Staff of Shriners Children’s Hawai‘i, who shared insights into the hospital’s life-changing work and innovative care model.

This meaningful visitation not only strengthened the bonds of friendship between Aahmes and Aloha Shriners but also reaffirmed their shared dedication to the mission of Shriners Children’s—to provide world-class pediatric specialty care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
