Aahmes Shriners recently celebrated its annual Labor Day Weekend on California’s North Coast, bringing together the Potentate and First Lady, Nobles, families, and friends for three days of fellowship, tradition, and community with the Redwood Shrine Club and Fort Bragg Shrine Club.
The weekend began Saturday evening with the Redwood Shrine Club Fish Fry at Pomo Campground, where guests gathered beneath the towering trees for dinner and fellowship. On Sunday, the festivities continued at the picnic grounds near Fort Bragg with an afternoon social and traditional barbecue featuring tri-tip, chicken, and all the fixings. Patriotic attire filled the grounds with red, white, and blue as everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting and time together.
The weekend concluded Monday with Aahmes Shriners participating in the Labor Day Parade through Fort Bragg, proudly representing the fraternity and sharing the fun and fellowship of Shrinedom with the local community.
Aahmes Shriners extends its appreciation to the Redwood Shrine Club, Fort Bragg Shrine Club, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the weekend possible. From the campground to the parade route, the annual gathering once again celebrated the friendships, traditions, and community spirit that make Labor Day Weekend on the North Coast so special.
