Members of Aahmes Shriners were honored to welcome Supreme Queen Kathy Walliker to Northern California during her recent visitation to Shriners Children’s in Sacramento. As the leader of the Daughters of the Nile—an international, benevolent women’s organization proudly affiliated with Shriners—Queen Kathy’s visit celebrated a shared commitment to philanthropy, service, and the care of children.
Since their first donation more than a century ago, the Daughters of the Nile Foundations in the United States and Canada have contributed over $77 million to Shriners Children’s, supporting life-changing medical care, research, and outreach for children in need.
During her time in Northern California, Supreme Queen Walliker joined members of Shriners International in a series of meaningful events, including an in-depth tour of Shriners Children’s Northern California. The visit highlighted the enduring partnership between the Shriners and Daughters of the Nile and underscored their united mission—to provide hope, healing, and compassionate care to children and families across the islands and beyond.
