Aahmes Shriners Join in the Celebration at the 2025 Danville 4th of July Parade

On a sunny Independence Day morning, the Aahmes Shriners proudly rolled into downtown Danville to take part in one of the Bay Area’s most beloved holiday traditions—the 2025 Kiwanis-Danville 4th of July Parade.

This year marked a historic milestone for the event, as the community came together to celebrate the 50th anniversaryof the parade, originally launched by the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley in 1975. With a theme of “Celebrating 50 Years of Community Service,” the 2025 edition paid tribute not only to the parade’s legacy but also to the contributions of its Grand Marshal—the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, which is also commemorating 50 years of service.

The Aahmes Shriners were honored to be among more than 125 entries that filled Hartz Avenue with color, spirit, and patriotic pride. The parade route, stretching from San Ramon Valley High School to Town and Country Drive, was lined with an estimated 40,000 spectators, making it one of the largest and most festive Fourth of July celebrations in the Bay Area.

From parade floats to marching units, the day was packed with energy, and the Aahmes Shriners were thrilled to bring their unique blend of community spirit, showmanship, and dedication to service. With mini cars, waving Nobles, and plenty of smiles, the Shriners helped spread joy while proudly representing their ongoing mission to support Shriners Children’s hospitals and families across the region.

As always, the Aahmes Shriners were grateful to be part of such a vibrant and meaningful event, and we look forward to celebrating alongside the Danville community for many more years to come!
